Monday, October 17th 2011. | Transportation

The most expensive bus in the world is a single deck bus allegedly designed for Prince Sultan Bin Fahd, President of the Saudi Arabia.  The bus in its entirety represents a lavish and luxurious lifestyle that can only be enjoyed by the world wealthiest or richest individual. Fahd was appointed Crown Prince when Khalid succeeded their half-brother King Faisal, who was assassinated in 1975. Fahd was viewed as the de facto prime minister during King Khalid’s reign in part due to the latter’s ill health.

With their origins in van chassis, minibuses are not usually considered single-deckers, although modern minibus designs blur this distinction.
